What Are The Different Uses of White Binchotan Charcoal?

Once your charcoal stick has reached its capacity as a water purifier, no need to throw it in the trash!

One of the beautiful things about white binchotan charcoal is it can be repurposed for other uses around the house, kitchen, bedroom, or garden.

Here are some other ways to get great use out of your charcoal stick.

Bath time
Add 1-2 sticks to your bath water to allow the charcoal to emit far infrared rays that enhance blood circulation.

Air Purifier + Dehumidifier
Charcoal sticks work wonderfully to absorb odors - place them in your refrigerator, bathroom, or anywhere that needs to be deodorized. Additionally, they're also effective in absorbing dampess. Place sticks in cabinets, closets, or laundry rooms to reduce moisture and prevent mold.

Electromagnetic Wave Absorber:
Place charcoal sticks by electrical appliances such as televisions, microwaves, computers, and mobile phones to block the harmful electromagnetic waves that they emit.

Recycle your used charcoal sticks by placing broken pieces in the soil. The charcoal will increase air flow and help increase microbe activity while alkalizing the soil to nurture healthy plants.

BBQ Grilling
The best yakitori bars in Japan use white binchotan charcoal to barbecue their meats. This highly prized charcoal is favored by the Japanese because it is chemical-free, devoid of smoke when burned, not to mention the extremely high heat it produces helps to preserve the flavors and aromas. Since it is virtually flameless, there's no worry over your food getting charred!

These are just some of the many ways we enjoy using white bincotan charcoal in our everyday lives. If you use it for a completely different purpose, we'd love to learn more!
